About Angel's Way FarmMy name is Jana Johnson Fox and I am the sole owner and operator of Angels Way Llamas. Since 1998 I have been dedicated to raising healthy Llamas with exquisite fiber, gentle dispositions, and show-stopping conformation. I am also the co-owner of Clinch Mountain Fibers, a processing mill for washing, picking, and carding Llama fibers into roving for hand spinners. It all started in 1998, when I had the opportunity to attend the Southeast Animal Fiber Festival in Winston-Salem. There, hidden behind the virtual hanging garden of fibers, were the Llamas. I spent some time talking to Llama owners, but mostly had my eyes glued in fascination on these incredible animals. The next week I sold my sports car, bought a pickup truck, and started looking for farmland.
A year later I was on my way. One Llama and two sassy Alpacas. We now have 19 Llamas, 2 Alpacas, and I am the foster parent of two Llamas from the Southeast Llama Rescue. My farm is on a mountain overlooking Gabriel Creek and Mars Hill, NC, a small town with 2 stoplights, a college, and a great coffee shop. This location is ideal, for both the Llamas and me. We have a delightful temperate climate. We're close to mountain trails, national forests, parklands, and farmlands. We love it here. You would never know it, but we are within a few miles of I-26 and Asheville NC. I-40, I-75 and I-85 are a short drive away. Getting here is easy. Come by and let the wonderful world of Llamas change your life.
